What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive growth and meet sales targets within NYC schools
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline by identifying customer needs and monitoring district initiatives
- Consistently meet and exceed key performance metrics, including sales quota and customer engagement benchmarks
- Manage inbound and outbound leads, guiding prospects through discovery meetings to uncover new sales opportunities
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through consistent engagement and proactive implementation support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1+ years of sales experience in the education sector or 3+ years of classroom teaching experience
- Knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy with the ability to communicate educational solutions effectively
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot to track progress and drive results
- Strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers in a virtual environment
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently while staying organized
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams to support key opportunities
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for onsite visits to NYC public schools
- Familiarity with the NYC DOE background clearance process
