      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct comprehensive secondary clinical chart reviews to identify documentation clarification opportunities
      - Collaborate with Coders, Coding Educators, and Case Managers to ensure clinically appropriate documentation
      - Perform daily concurrent reviews of inpatient records to ensure timely and compliant coding
      - Initiate compliant physician queries for ambiguous or missing documentation
      - Communicate with the CDI Coordinator regarding review assignment volumes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree
      - RN, MD, or MD Equivalent (MBBS) certification
      - 4 years of direct patient care experience in inpatient settings, critical care, or strong med-surg experience
      - 2+ years of prior CDI experience
      - Familiarity with encoder and DRG assignment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - CCDS or CDIP certification
      - Experience in ED/Critical care or case management
      - Strong clinical understanding of disease processes
      - Proficiency with EHR systems, CDI software systems, and encoders
      - Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
