      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assign appropriate medical codes (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) to accurately describe ambulance services, diagnoses, and procedures
      - Prepare and submit claims for ambulance services to insurance companies and government payers in a timely manner
      - Verify patient insurance information and eligibility to determine coverage for ambulance services
      - Review patient medical records and transport documentation to ensure accuracy in coding and billing
      - Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding-related queries

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent
      - Knowledge of Medicare Part B Ambulance medical coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
      - Previous experience in Medicare Part B Ambulance medical coding and billing
      - Proficiency in Traumasoft billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
      - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
