What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and decision transactions in accordance with credit policies and procedures
- Review structured and unstructured data to develop a comprehensive view of applicants' credit profiles
- Maintain a fluid Credit Decisioning Queue, even during peak activity periods
- Propose modifications to credit policies based on trends and observations
- Assist colleagues in resolving complex underwriting situations and address appeals from the Originations Department
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in credit underwriting, data entry, and/or transaction processing preferred
- Strong self-motivation with a high level of accountability and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of internal credit processes and procedures
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in analyzing credit reports and bank statements
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks in a fluctuating workload
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
