What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a key resource for SOC Level 3 escalations, conducting in-depth investigations of advanced threats, alerts, and incidents
- Develop and tune SIEM rules, playbooks, and threat detection mechanisms to improve monitoring capabilities
- Manage and optimize email security platforms, ensuring protection against phishing, malware, and advanced threats
- Monitor and manage the organization’s digital footprint to identify vulnerabilities and threats in external sources
- Collaborate with stakeholders to remediate risks associated with exposed or sensitive data

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of email security protocols (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and tools (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast, or Microsoft Defender)
- Experience handling advanced cyber incidents and coordinating with incident response teams
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with threat intelligence integration into operational workflows
- Familiarity with incident response activities, including containment and recovery efforts
- Previous experience in a security operations center (SOC) environment
- Knowledge of social media monitoring and dark web threat assessment
- Understanding of user awareness initiatives related to email hygiene
