What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage vulnerabilities and respond to security operations center (SOC) alerts
- Support the Tenable vulnerability management system and assist various teams with asset management
- Provide assistance to end users as needed for cybersecurity issues
- Monitor dark web alerts and respond to incidents within the SOC
- Act as the first line of defense in addressing security threats
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in vulnerability management and SOC response
- Familiarity with Tenable and related vulnerability management tools
- Ability to support and assist end users in cybersecurity matters
- Knowledge of Proofpoint for handling alerts and infected emails
- Strong understanding of dark web monitoring and incident response processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a global IT-Engineering services environment
- Previous roles involving direct client interaction and support in cybersecurity
- Knowledge of additional cybersecurity tools and practices
