What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer, monitor, and maintain MS SQL Server and MongoDB, Oracle, or PostgreSQL databases
- Implement data backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
- Enforce database security measures and manage user access to comply with security policies
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance and evaluate improvements for database architecture
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-7 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on MS SQL Server and MongoDB, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and replication strategies
- Proficiency in Oracle database management, including Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Experience with cloud-based database administration, specifically with Azure or Amazon AWS
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills for collaboration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and best practices
- Experience with Datadog monitoring and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Knowledge of agility tools such as Version1
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
