Department Overview:
Parent and former teacher seeking energetic, reliable, young people who have an interest in furthering their career path by providing care and activities to enhance the life of her daughter. Lakeview Supportive Living is the employer providing the pay. Parent will do all the training. Prior care experience is not required, although valued. Former college students have found this to be a remarkable opportunity.
Anticipated Hours Per Week
3 hours every other Saturday Schedule:
Recreation Assistant 12:00 p.m.to 3:00 p.m. every other Saturday
More hours are available upon request and substitute hours available for both recreation assistant (3 hours) and caregiver (6 hour shift)
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $18.75 to $18.75 Number Of Positions
1 Position Summary/Job Duties:
This position offers valuable experience, broadens your resume, gain patient contact hours and earn $18.75 hr. A car is necessary for this position.
Recreation Assistant position is 3 hours every other Saturday 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Costs and travel reimbursement are covered when assisting a caregiver for fun activities outside the home, i.e. swimming, biking, bowling, community events, etc.

Qualifications:
Reliable, energetic, able to work with others and enjoys physical activity. Prior experience is not needed, although valued. Parent will train for both positions. A car is necessary for these positions. At least a year commitment would be appreciated.
Physical Demands
High energy and motivation to provide care and activities with a partner. Client wt. is 125lbs., uses a wheelchair, but does standing transfers. Application Instructions:
