What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the planning, management, and execution of USAF and USSF environmental programs across the Pacific region
- Ensure environmental programs comply with U.S. and host-nation regulations, advising senior leadership on regulatory compliance
- Develop innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges
- Mentor and supervise team members while working with considerable independence
- Guide environmental analyses for federally funded projects, including public meetings and consultations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in leading environmental strategy development for USAF and USSF operations
- 5+ years of advisory experience on environmental risks with a focus on scientific validity and defense objectives
- Proven experience in environmental analyses for federally funded projects, including data collection and documentation preparation
- Secret clearance is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in an Environmental field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with collaboration efforts with military leadership and regulatory agencies
- Knowledge of external environmental studies and compliance modifications
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Master's degree in an Environmental field
