What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to develop product costs, including raw materials, purchased parts, labor, overhead, tooling, and capital for new programs or engineering changes
- Build financial models with price/cost sensitivity
- Calculate sell price at target gross margins
- Prepare customer quote packages, including piece prices, tooling breakdowns, and price walks from current to future states
- Track program margins from launch to completion, highlighting variances from quoted targets
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a related role
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, basic financial modeling)
- Foundational financial and analytical skills (exposure to make-vs-buy analysis)
- Good communication skills for team collaboration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in product costing or manufacturing
- Automotive industry exposure
- Foreign language skills in Spanish
