What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write and edit a variety of health communication materials, ensuring adherence to best practices in health education and risk communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic communications plans for health campaigns
- Provide consultation support for media engagements and develop key messages on public health topics
- Create and implement social media and digital media strategies to enhance online presence
- Conduct formative research and analyze communication metrics to improve effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience developing visual or health communication materials
- Experience in creating materials that comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a related field
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent)
- Experience in crisis communication and public health messaging
