What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with installation, cabling, labeling, documentation, and troubleshooting of physical equipment in a colocation environment
- Support day-to-day operation of network and infrastructure environments
- Help monitor, investigate, and resolve network, hardware, and connectivity issues
- Work with senior engineers on troubleshooting packet loss, latency, routing, and equipment failures
- Contribute to automation and process improvement where possible
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related subject
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network fundamentals
- Exposure to troubleshooting tools such as tcpdump or Wireshark
- Candidates with a CCNA or who are actively working toward one will stand out
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Exposure to concepts of automation and scripting languages (Python)
- Ability to work independently and learn quickly from experienced teammates
