      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop strong communication networks and build relationships with distributors, engineers, and municipalities
      - Execute the company's pricing strategy for assigned accounts to ensure adequate margins and returns on sales
      - Submit weekly reports to management highlighting market conditions and customer interactions
      - Troubleshoot product issues in the field and by phone, serving as a liaison between end users, customers, and the company
      - Prepare price quotations or bids based on knowledge of material and current market conditions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree preferred
      - Five years of industrial sales experience required, preferably in the waterworks industry
      - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
      - Must have a valid driver's license and a clean DMV record that can be insured
      - Must be self-motivated and able to negotiate and close deals while maintaining a strong customer service attitude

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Completion of McWane Sales Trainee program
      - Mechanically inclined with the ability to analyze and relate product details
      - Strong language skills to effectively communicate with clients and present information
      - Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions
      - Knowledge of Internet and inventory software, as well as manufacturing and order processing systems
