What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to secure new freight management opportunities
- Identify, generate, pursue, and close new sales opportunities in the logistics sector
- Conduct regular outreach to potential clients through cold calls and face-to-face meetings
- Collaborate with the operations management team to ensure effective onboarding of new accounts
- Analyze sales performance and share insights with operations managers to drive growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in transportation freight brokerage or logistics companies
- Strong understanding of logistics processes and sales techniques
- Exceptional customer service and strong negotiation skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a high-stress environment
