What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support large-scale database migrations to Oracle Exadata, including cutover planning and validation
- Collaborate with application teams to validate connectivity, performance, and functionality during migrations
- Troubleshoot issues at the application/database boundary post-migration
- Coordinate production operations, including change management and escalations
- Partner with DBA and infrastructure teams during migration events and post-cutover support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience performing full data management duties, including migration and continuous integration/delivery
- Strong Oracle Database administration skills, including experience with RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
- Deep understanding of Oracle client connectivity, such as JDBC and ODP.NET
- Ability to effectively communicate with analysts, developers, and project managers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of other databases such as DB2 and MS SQL Server
- High-level analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills in both oral and written forms
