      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct interviews to determine eligibility for Child Care benefits and assist with application processing
      - Analyze information to ensure accurate benefit determinations and continued program eligibility
      - Provide customer service support to families and Child Care Providers regarding subsidy payments
      - Refer clients to necessary services and ensure proper translation services for limited English proficient clients
      - Issue reimbursements and manage notifications for overpayments as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - One (1) year of experience in financial eligibility determination for public assistance programs
      - A bachelor's degree may substitute for experience related to customer service or financial eligibility determination
      - Completion of the agency's Public Benefits Specialist Training Program is required for certain levels
      - Eighteen (18) months of experience in determining eligibility for various financial programs for Public Benefits Specialist 3
      - Ability to learn and grow, meeting the needs of others

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated experience in a high-volume customer service or call center environment
      - Prior experience determining eligibility for public assistance programs
      - Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency
