What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Solicit and build relationships with accounts in the assigned market segment to enhance hotel revenues
- Conduct thorough site inspections of hotel properties with clients
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, including Food and Beverage and Guest Services
- Generate new business leads through research and proactive sales efforts
- Monitor account production and provide month-end reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 3 years of progressive hotel group sales experience
- Valid driver’s license in the applicable state
- Proficiency in Windows and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
- Ability to work long hours as needed
- Capability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in managing sales transactions and negotiations
- Familiarity with computerized sales management systems
- Knowledge of hospitality sales policies and procedures
- Active participation in community and professional associations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
