What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead mid-to-large-scale transportation projects from setup through delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Manage project scope, schedule, and staffing while collaborating with clients and stakeholders
- Oversee project billing, QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout processes
- Prepare project proposals and maintain primary communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Support new business development efforts and represent the employer in professional organizations and community activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years in civil transportation engineering, with a focus on DOT-funded highway and bridge projects
- Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with MicroStation preferred
- Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships

- Familiarity with NYDOT or PennDOT design standards
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment skills
- Demonstrated adaptability and proactivity in meeting project deliverables
