What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide overall leadership and management of contract activities, ensuring alignment with performance standards and Government priorities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Project Management Plan (PMP) to monitor project execution
- Serve as the central coordination point for communications with Government staff and partner contractors
- Track performance metrics and prepare financial overview reports to ensure cost-effective execution
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing federal contracts, IT programs, or complex project portfolios
- Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies and governance frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain required public trust clearance
- Experience implementing Earned Value Management or cost/schedule performance monitoring practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with federal reporting standards and compliance environments
- Experience with collaboration and project management tools in a federal environment
