What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach courses in International Relations, Security Studies, and Statistics, primarily in asynchronous online formats
- Support degree programs and courses in International Relations and Security minors
- Participate in departmental, college, and university committees as part of service responsibilities
- Maintain an active research agenda with the potential for publication in high-impact journals
- Conduct quantitative analysis and apply research methodologies in teaching and scholarship
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ph.D. in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated competency in quantitative research methods and statistics
- Ability to teach undergraduate statistics courses and apply quantitative analysis to security studies research
- Active research agenda with potential for publication in high-impact journals
- Successful experience in teaching courses in international relations and security studies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Industry, military, or government experience related to national security or international affairs
- Experience in teaching courses specifically in International Relations and Security Studies
