      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collect, review, and manage political violence and protest data for South Korea
      - Code events to ensure comprehensive coverage of current political violence
      - Conduct detailed analysis and quality checks on data produced
      - Participate in ACLED training exercises to enhance skills and performance
      - Collaborate with team members to maintain data consistency and reliability

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - University degree in conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or related field
      - Familiarity with Excel
      - Fluency in English and Korean
      - Experience in desk-based research and working to deadlines
      - Attention to detail and ability to receive and incorporate feedback

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Working knowledge of another Asian language
      - Research focus or professional experience in conflict research or peace-building in East Asia
      - Familiarity with conflict and actors in the relevant countries
      - Access to a computer, reliable internet connection, email, and Microsoft Office Suite
