      Semiconductor Sales Engineer

      Summary

      Forge Nano Inc., a fast-growing nano-technology company with a focus on precision, commercial-scale ALD nano-coatings across a wide range of markets, is seeking an experienced and high-energy Semiconductor Sales Engineer. As a Sales Engineer, you will be a key player in driving new business acquisition and aggressively pursuing new opportunities. Your primary focus will be on prospecting, lead generation, and converting leads into loyal customers for our wafer-based ALD systems. You should possess a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen allowing you to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to potential clients. As part of the Sales Team at Forge Nano, you will play a crucial role in propelling our company's growth and success.

      Responsibilities

      TheSemiconductor Sales Engineer will be responsible for the below listed tasks (not exhaustive):
      1. Technical Proficiency:
        • Develop an in-depth understanding of our ALD semiconductor equipment, it's applications and the value it provides our customers.
        • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings.
      1. Business Development:
        • Identify and engage potential customers to understand their manufacturing needs for ALD processes and equipment.
        • Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored solutions and proposals that result in system sales.
        • Attend industry tradeshows and conferences to network and mine new opportunities.
      1. Marketing Support:
        • Assist in the development of marketing strategies, including product positioning and messaging.
        • Provide technical input for marketing collateral, presentations, and webinars.
      1. Customer Support:
        • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
        • Offer technical guidance to customers and work closely with the service group to ensure continued support of existing equipment.
      2. Documentation:
        • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and necessary documentation for customer projects.
        • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in Salesforce.

      Required Experience and Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a STEM related field. Technical qualifications combined with sales experience will also be considered.
      • Proven track record of at least 3-5 years of successful sales experience, preferably as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
      • Fundamental knowledge of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) technology and its applications in semiconductor manufacturing.
      • Demonstrated experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
      • Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand complex technical solutions and convey their value to customers effectively.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
      • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM.
      • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to overcome sales challenges.
      • Hands-on experience with CRM software. SalesForce preferred.

      Work Environment

      Work will predominately be in an office or work-from-home environment. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate safety equipment including but not limited to eye protection, gloves, steel toe shoes, lab coat, and in the plant, a hard hat. Strict adherence to corporate and/or plant policies, rules and regulations in these areas is required.       Compensation/Benefits
      • $87,000 - $97,000 depending on experience - base plus commission
